The 5CUBE steelwork was erected in a few hours onsite at Hanover Quay in Dublin Docklands on Monday afternoon. The innovative structure can be completely dismantled and reconstructed quickly and easily due to the series of repeating bolted connections. The structural design by CORA Engineers (www.cora.ie) also features boxes filled with sand acting as ballast, which can be reused elsewhere upon removal. The contractor, Townlink, expect to complete the project in time for Sustainability Week in June this year.
